Live your faith – Advent 2:
Imagine a desert. In your mind’s eye, gradually draw into it all those you know who are in need. Keep a few moments of silence, then pray:
‘God of the desert, bless with your healing touch those in need today. Help them to encounter you in a new way, and to be filled with your Spirit of hope and purpose. Amen.’

The Christian Aid coffee morning last Saturday raised £292 for the work of Christian Aid. Thanks to all who supported us. Deborah and Ann.
As you probably know we have a charity collection when we have a communion service. This money goes to projects supported by All We Can and throughout 2018-19 we will be journeying with a community from Malawi, who have been struggling to provide for their families due to failed harvests. There are bookmarks in the pews updating you on some of the work, please take one. Also, please consider getting an alternative Christmas gift from All We Can, especially good for that difficult to buy for person – there are catalogues in the Wesley Centre.
We had a food parcel recipient last week who is need of a washing machine and a bedroom carpet. If anyone can help, please speak to Karen Foster or send an email to email@example.com.
